Spider wood is a unique wood commonly used in aquascaping. The wood has a lot of extensions giving it a tree like appearance. Spider wood is often a popular choice when aquascaping aquariums due to the amount of plants that can be attached to the branches and the aesthetic it provides.
Spider wood is dried which means that it will not sink immediately and will need to be weighted down for about 5-10 days until it is fully saturated. This wood is great for shrimp breeding and creates a great surface for plants. It also releases beneficial tannin. Spider wood creates many spaces for fish or shrimp to hide.
What you will receive
You will receive one piece of Spider Wood that will be around 6 - 9 inches in size. The size of each piece will vary. If ordering more than one piece, we will do our best to include different sizes and shapes.
